Program Overview:
Mobile Solutions Development (MSD) is a four-term graduate certificate program, including a one-term exploration of career management or an optional co-op in the mobile software industry. The program will offer students a strong practical background in mobile solutions design and development that encompasses different devices, operating systems, database and network infrastructures, as well as coverage of software quality and the security aspects to mobile solutions development. The optional co-op stream includes one co-op work term instead of the Guided Career Management course. In the Mobile Solutions Development program, students benefit from specialized courses taught by highly qualified industry experts.

GPA: 60% or above
IELTS: Overall 6.5 no band below than 6.0

Learning Outcomes:
Evaluate business and design requirements to select, formulate and implement mobile solutions
Propose deliverable proprietary mobile solutions to prospective clients using business, marketing and sales strategies
Develop application and user interfaces for various mobile platforms that leverage evolving mobile device capabilities
Design and evaluate new and existing websites to ensure mobile usability for various devices and platforms
Appraise technology criteria to create cross-platform applications.
Design, develop and publish device-specific mobile applications using mobile solution technology to meet stakeholder requirements
Career Outlook:
Students graduate with software development and mobile user interface design skills and experience necessary to design and implement high quality web and mobile software solutions for industry or entrepreneurial endeavours. Entry-level positions for graduates of this program include mobile software developer, mobile application developer, web application developer, app designer, app tester, mobile solutions tester, software quality control professional and entrepreneur. In addition to these, future career path opportunities would include project manager, user experience (UX) designer and industry consultant.
