Master of Public Health

Program Overview

The Master of Public Health at CQUniversity Australia introduces students to a social-ecological model of health that underpins community-based and community-led public health practice. The course explores the origins and evolution of public health, systems thinking, epidemiology, statistics and global health, while emphasising practical application through strengths-based and disease-prevention approaches. Students gain real-world experience and can customise their degree with elective units, preparing them to work in health services and projects with government, non-government, or international humanitarian organisations.
