Master of Psychology (Clinical)

Program Overview

The Master of Psychology (Clinical) at ACAP University College is a 2-year postgraduate degree designed to provide international students with advanced, practicum-based training in clinical psychology. This APAC-accredited course represents the fifth and sixth year of professional education required toward general registration as a psychologist in Australia and blends rigorous academic coursework with extensive practical placements and independent research leading to a thesis. The curriculum emphasises evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, intervention and professional ethical practice across the lifespan, with a minimum requirement of 1,000 hours of practical skills and training in clinical settings, including on-campus clinics and external placements. Graduates build specialist competencies necessary for clinical roles and further supervised practice toward registration.
