Master of Primary Teaching

Program Overview

The Master of Primary Teaching at The University of Notre Dame Australia is a graduate-entry professional degree that prepares international students to become qualified primary school teachers. The program integrates research-based pedagogical theory with extensive practical classroom experience through professional placements. The curriculum covers core learning areas such as literacy, numeracy, science, arts, health, ICT in education, inclusive practices and culturally responsive teaching. Graduates meet the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the Graduate level and are eligible for teacher registration in Australia.
