Program Overview

The Master of Information Technology and Systems (MITS) at VIT is a two-year postgraduate degree designed for international students to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills across core IT disciplines and emerging technologies — preparing them for senior IT roles in a global digital economy. The course offers specialisations in Business Analytics, Cyber Security, Information Systems, and Software Engineering, so students can focus on their desired IT pathway. The curriculum blends in-depth theoretical study, real-world project-based learning, and soft-skills development for professional success. The program is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) at the Professional Level, and students receive complimentary ACS student membership.
