Program Overview

The Master of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) at Kent Institute Australia is a postgraduate coursework degree (AQF Level 9) designed for international students to develop advanced skills in information and communication technologies, digital innovation and industry-relevant practice. The course combines core ICT foundations — such as networking, databases, cloud computing, software design and user experience — with specialisations in Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence, each including capstone project units that apply learning to industry scenarios.

Specialisation Options

The Master of Information and Communication Technology offers two specialised streams, each with capstone projects:

• Cyber Security Specialisation — focuses on secure system design, ethical hacking, digital forensics, cloud security and cyber risk management.
• Artificial Intelligence Specialisation — includes applied machine learning, neural networks, business intelligence, data mining and ethical AI principles.
