Master of Applied Finance

Program Overview

The Master of Applied Finance at Western Sydney University is a two-year postgraduate (AQF Level 9) degree designed for international students seeking advanced skills in finance, investment analysis, risk management and corporate financial strategy. The program emphasises practical application of finance techniques and prepares graduates for careers in corporate finance, banking, funds management, property investment, treasury operations and financial consulting. It is also part of the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program and satisfies the educational requirements for professional membership with bodies such as FINSIA and the Finance & Treasury Association, subject to work experience criteria.
