Program Overview

The Master of Agricultural Science at Charles Sturt University enhances students’ scientific understanding of agriculture and strengthens analytical, research and strategic management skills within agricultural systems. The degree emphasises sustainable practice, data‑informed decision making and applied science in areas such as crop and soil science, agronomy and environmental management. Graduates are prepared for leadership, consultancy and research roles across agribusiness, governmental agencies and sustainability‑focused sectors, with competencies that support innovation and strategy in local and global agricultural contexts.

• IELTS 6.5 overall (no band less than 6) or equivalent

Specialisation/Majors

The program is delivered as an integrated Master of Agricultural Science (with specialisations), where students can focus on advanced topics in agriculture science, production systems, sustainability and related research areas rather than discrete separate majors.
