Finance and Wealth Management

Overview:

This innovative collaborative financial management program will give you the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to take on the exciting wealth and finance industry with confidence. This program is a four-year collaborative degree offered by King’s University College at Western University and Fanshawe College. Successful graduates of the program will receive a Bachelor of Arts - Finance (three-year) degree from Western University and a Business - Finance (two-year) diploma from Fanshawe College.

First-year students apply to the Finance and Wealth Management program via OUAC, within the Social Science program at King’s (OUAC code EKO) and must meet the admission requirements:

• Achieve a minimum overall high school average of 80% (calculated on the top 6U/M grade 12 courses, including pre-requisites);
• Complete MCV4U or equivalent with a minimum final grade of 60%;

Admission to this financial management program is competitive, and possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Once accepted into the program, students will alternate between the two institutions:

• Year 1 - King’s
• Year 2 - Fanshawe
• Year 3 - King’s
• Year 4 - Fanshawe, first semester/King’s, second semester
