Program Overview

The Bachelor of Nursing at Victoria University provides international students with the knowledge, practical skills and clinical experience required to become registered nurses. The degree blends foundational scientific knowledge, evidence-based nursing practice, communication skills and professional healthcare competencies with hands-on learning through 800 professional practice hours in clinical placements and 140 clinical simulation hours at the Sunshine Clinical School in the third year. Students practice in real healthcare environments and state-of-the-art simulation facilities to prepare for diverse nursing roles in hospitals, community health services and specialised care settings.
