Program Overview

The Bachelor of Information Technology at Box Hill Institute is a 3-year undergraduate degree focused on developing practical and industry-relevant IT skills for international students. It emphasises hands-on learning using real equipment and industry-aligned courseware from partners like Cisco, AWS and Microsoft, preparing graduates with both theoretical knowledge and practical capabilities. Students choose from four major streams — Cyber Security, Data Analytics and AI, Cloud Computing and IoT, and Software Engineering — allowing them to specialise in areas of high demand within the tech industry. Through project work, labs and applied learning, graduates are equipped to enter the workforce in a variety of ICT roles offering strong career prospects globally.
