Specialisation / Majors

Majors & Focus Areas:
Students complete a major in Public Health (core focus), and then choose one of the following pathways for deeper study:
• Public Health Major (core)
• Indigenous Health Major (focus on Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander health issues)
• Minor studies options — students can substitute the second major with two minors:
 • Indigenous Health
 • Health (Sport Science)
 • Health & Nutrition
 • Bioscience

How it works:
• Option A: Public Health + Indigenous Health double major
• Option B: Public Health major + two minors (choose from the list above)
These allow students to tailor their expertise to specific health fields while completing the Bachelor of Health Science.
