The Bachelor of Health Science (Health and Lifestyle) at Southern Cross University is a three-year undergraduate degree for international students that provides a broad foundation in health science, lifestyle and wellness, clinical science, scientific inquiry and health promotion. The program explores how lifestyle, nutrition, exercise and psychosocial factors influence health outcomes and prepares students to apply evidence-based approaches to support wellbeing and disease prevention. In addition to theoretical learning, the course includes work-integrated learning and placement experiences as well as opportunities to develop practical skills in health assessment, community engagement and preventive practices. Graduates are equipped to work across health, community and allied support roles, and the degree also offers a clear pathway to SCU’s Master of Naturopathic Medicine for those pursuing clinical naturopathy as a profession.
