Program Overview
The Bachelor of Engineering Technology at UniSQ prepares international students to become skilled engineering technologists who apply practical and technical solutions in industry settings. The 3‑year degree blends project‑based learning, hands‑on residential schools, real‑world placements and flexible online study to build competence across engineering fundamentals and chosen majors such as civil, electrical, mechanical or mining engineering. Graduates enter the workforce ready to support design, implementation, maintenance and innovation across sectors including construction, energy, manufacturing and mining. The program is provisionally accredited and graduates are eligible to apply for Graduate membership as an Engineering Technologist with Engineers Australia.

- IELTS 6.0 overall (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent

Specialisation / Majors
Students can tailor their degree by choosing one of the following majors within the program:
- Civil Engineering — infrastructure, construction and planning focus.
- Electrical & Electronic Engineering — systems, electronics, and electrical technology.
- Mechanical Engineering — mechanical systems, design and manufacturing technologies.
- Mining Engineering — practical mining systems, operations and safet
