The Bachelor of Engineering Science at Western Sydney University is a three-year full-time undergraduate degree designed for international students to build a strong foundation in core engineering principles before choosing a specialised pathway. In the first year, students study broad engineering domains including civil, electrical, mechanical, materials, manufacturing, robotics & mechatronics, and sustainability. After the first year, you can choose majors aligned with evolving industry needs. The program includes mandatory industrial experience (approx. 300 hours) to enhance practical skills and employability as an engineering technologist. It can also serve as a pathway into the four-year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) if you wish to pursue a professional engineering qualification.
Intakes: March, July
*Tuition estimates are for the entire program and may increase annually.
Students may choose one of several engineering majors after the first year, including:
• Advanced Manufacturing
• Civil Engineering
• Construction Engineering
