The Bachelor of Education (Primary Teaching) at Murdoch University is a four-year undergraduate degree that prepares international students for professional careers in teaching primary school children (Years 1–6). The program blends theoretical foundations in educational psychology, pedagogy and curriculum with extensive practical classroom experiences and professional placements in schools, ensuring graduates have the skills to design, assess and deliver effective teaching programs. Students also engage with real-world teaching technologies (e.g., SimLab simulated learning environments) and can choose to specialise areas such as Inclusive Education, STEM education or language teaching within primary contexts. Upon completion, graduates are eligible to apply for teacher registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia and pursue teaching roles across Australia or internationally.
