The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Box Hill Institute equips international students with the professional knowledge, skills and hands-on experience needed to support the learning and development of young children from birth to five years. The degree combines theory in child development, curriculum design, early literacy and numeracy, inclusive practices and reflective professional practice with extensive practicum placements in real childcare and early learning centres. Students engage with families, community organisations and educators to build cultural understanding, communication capabilities and ethical approaches to teaching young children. On completion, graduates are prepared for roles in early childhood settings and hold a qualification that supports registration or accreditation pathways in Australia and internationally.
