Program Overview

The Bachelor of Design (Fashion Design) at Box Hill Institute equips international students with advanced creative, technical and professional skills required to succeed in the global fashion industry. The program combines design theory with hands-on studio practice, allowing students to develop original fashion concepts, technical garment construction skills and a strong professional portfolio. Throughout the course, students explore fashion illustration, pattern making, textile design, sustainability, digital design technologies and fashion business practices. Industry-focused projects, studio-based learning and opportunities to showcase work prepare graduates for careers across fashion design, production, merchandising and entrepreneurial pathways.
