Bachelor of Arts- Women's Studies

The Mount has a long history of promoting women's education and is still committed to this goal. The Women’s Studies program focuses on women's experiences and knowledge, looking at how gender, race, class, sexual orientation, and ability intersect from different cultural and interdisciplinary viewpoints.

Program Options

• Honours Degree: A four-year program culminating in a thesis project.

• Single or Combined Major Degree: A three-year program, with options to combine Women’s Studies with another discipline.

• Minor in Women’s Studies: Complement your major with Women’s Studies courses.

• Minor in Queer Studies: Explore sexuality and gender, focusing on the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
