Program Overview
The Master of Teaching at the University of Tasmania is a professional postgraduate degree that prepares international students for careers as qualified teachers. The program builds on your bachelor’s degree and provides teaching theory, professional knowledge and school-based experience. You can specialise in Primary or Secondary teaching. The course includes multiple professional experience placements in schools as you integrate classroom practice with academic study. Graduates are eligible for recognition by teacher registration authorities in Australia and overseas.

Specialisation Options
You can choose your teaching focus within the Master of Teaching:
