Master of Teaching (Early Childhood)

Program Overview

The Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) at Ikon Institute of Australia is a postgraduate teacher education degree for international students aiming to qualify as early childhood teachers working with children from birth up to five years. The program blends educational theory, play-based pedagogy, curriculum design, assessment, child development, behaviour support, inclusive practice, leadership and professional research with hands-on industry experience through professional placements.

Students learn how to deliver contemporary early childhood programs across subjects including language, literacy, numeracy, science, digital technologies, creative arts, STEM and STEAM — all tailored to the developmental needs of young learners.

Admission Requirements

• IELTS 6.5 overall (with speaking no less than 6.5; listening, writing and reading no less than 6.0.)
