The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) at Equals International College is a two-year postgraduate degree designed for international students seeking professional preparation to practise as social workers. The program integrates social work theory, ethics, human behaviour, social policy, community development and culturally responsive practice with extensive supervised professional placements in health, community and welfare settings. Students develop the knowledge and skills to assess client needs, support individuals and families, work with diverse communities, and contribute to organisational and policy responses addressing social issues. This qualification meets the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) qualifying criteria, enabling graduates to apply for membership and pursue recognised social work careers in Australia and internationally.
