Program Overview
The Bachelor of Information Technology at Southern Cross University is a three-year undergraduate degree that equips international students with a broad IT skillset relevant to the fast-evolving digital world. The curriculum focuses on core areas including programming, computer systems, networks, databases, cloud computing, software engineering and project management, with the option to further specialise in Artificial Intelligence or Cybersecurity. A 12-week professional placement and integrated Microsoft certifications form part of the course, giving students hands-on industry experience and qualifications that enhance employability. Students learn through interactive and immersive approaches that align with current industry needs, preparing them for diverse IT roles across sectors.
