Master of Cyber Security (Advanced)

Program Overview

The Master of Cybersecurity (Advanced) at Torrens University is designed for students seeking senior cybersecurity roles. It covers software and network security, human-centric cybersecurity, enterprise computing systems, and ethical leadership. Co-developed with industry and aligned with ACS’s Core Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and CyBOK, the program includes 504 hours of work-integrated learning (through internship or a live brief), giving hands-on experience along with theoretical knowledge.

Specialisation Options
Students must complete twelve core subjects and one elective subject. Core subjects cover areas like: Network & Software Security, Web Protection, IoT & Cloud Infrastructure Protection, Human-Centric Cybersecurity, Research Methodologies, etc. Electives include options such as Big Data & Analytics, Agile Project Management, Deep Learning, UX Design etc.
